ARDEN LUME ships premium lighting fixtures with protective packaging, tracking, and careful handling appropriate for fragile and oversized products. Delivery time varies by item type, production status, destination, carrier capacity, and customs requirements.
Please review the product page and your order confirmation carefully. If your project has a deadline, contact us before placing your order.
Where Orders Ship From
Depending on the item and availability, your order may ship from:
- A stocked fulfillment location
- A manufacturing or finishing facility
- A project or specialty fulfillment location
Many designer lighting fixtures require preparation, finishing, inspection, or protective packing before shipment. Some large or customized pieces may be prepared after the order is placed.
Processing Time
Processing time is the time needed to confirm, prepare, inspect, pack, and hand your order to the carrier.
Typical processing estimates:
- In-stock items: 1-5 business days
- Made-to-order or prepared-to-order items: 7-20 business days
- Custom size, custom finish, or project orders: timeline confirmed case by case
Processing times exclude weekends, public holidays, carrier delays, customs review, and weather or port disruptions.
Delivery Time
Estimated delivery time depends on product size, destination, and shipping method.
Typical delivery estimates after dispatch:
- Standard parcel delivery: 5-12 business days
- Oversized or fragile freight delivery: 2-6 weeks
- International or manufacturing-direct delivery: 2-8 weeks depending on destination and method
- Expedited shipping: available for selected items and destinations only
Large chandeliers, stone fixtures, glass fixtures, and project orders may require additional packing and transit time.
Shipping Charges
Shipping rates are shown at checkout when available. Some oversized, fragile, remote-area, or project shipments may require a custom quote.
If a shipping charge shown at checkout is incorrect due to oversized freight, remote delivery, or special handling requirements, we will contact you before shipment.
Duties, Taxes, and Import Charges
For standard eligible orders, ARDEN LUME covers duties, taxes, VAT, customs fees, brokerage fees, and import charges required for delivery.
If a destination, remote location, special service, or project shipment requires an exceptional charge outside our standard duty-paid delivery arrangement, we will contact you before shipment.
Tracking
You will receive tracking information after the carrier accepts the shipment. For freight, oversized, or international shipments, tracking updates may begin later than parcel shipments.
For manufacturing-direct or freight shipments, the first tracking event may appear after export processing, customs clearance, or handoff to the final-mile carrier.
Delivery Inspection
Please inspect your shipment as soon as it arrives.
Before discarding packaging, check:
- Outer carton condition
- Inner protective packaging
- Glass, shade, stone, metal, wiring, canopy, and hardware
- Quantity of parts and accessories
If there is visible damage, photograph the package before opening and keep all packaging materials.
Damaged, Lost, or Missing Packages
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or missing parts, contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Please provide:
- Order number
- Photos of the shipping carton
- Photos of the internal packaging
- Photos or video of the damaged or missing item
- A description of the issue
We will review the claim and may provide replacement parts, repair support, a replacement fixture, or a refund depending on the situation.
If a package is marked delivered but cannot be found, contact the carrier and ARDEN LUME promptly. We will assist with carrier investigation where possible, but delivery outcomes may depend on carrier records, signature proof, delivery location, and local claim rules.
Incorrect Address
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
If an address is incorrect, incomplete, inaccessible, or changed after shipment, additional carrier fees, rerouting costs, storage fees, or return costs may apply.
Remote, Oversized, and Special Delivery Areas
Remote areas, islands, construction sites, high-rise buildings, limited-access locations, and freight-only addresses may require additional time or fees.
For oversized chandeliers or fragile fixtures, the carrier may require appointment delivery, curbside delivery, or special handling. Installation, unpacking, debris removal, and indoor placement are not included unless explicitly confirmed in writing.
Project and Trade Orders
For trade, hospitality, commercial, or multi-room residential projects, shipping timelines should be confirmed before purchase. We recommend sharing:
- Product links
- Quantities
- Delivery address
- Required delivery date
- Site access limitations
- Installation schedule
Delays
We do our best to provide accurate estimates, but shipping timelines can be affected by production queues, customs review, carrier congestion, weather, holidays, port conditions, and force majeure events.
If a delay occurs, we will provide updates when available.
