Global Plug Guide hero with worldwide plug adapters and outlet types

Plug shape is only one check

A plug adapter can change the physical connection, but it does not change the electrical input rating of a light. Before using a plug-in fixture, check the fixture label, bulb or driver rating, and the voltage used in the destination country.

For ARDEN LUME products, product pages should be checked for plug option, voltage input and installation method before purchase. Contact us before ordering if the fixture will be used outside the listed destination region.

Reference chart for worldwide plug types, outlet shapes, voltage, frequency and regions Mobile card guide for global plug types A through K with voltage and common regions
TYPE A / BUnited States, Canada, Mexico

Typical voltage range: 100-127V. Check whether the fixture includes a grounded Type B plug when required.

TYPE C / E / FEurope

Typical voltage range: 220-240V. Plug shape can vary by country even inside Europe.

TYPE GUK, Ireland, Hong Kong

Typical voltage range: 220-250V. Type G uses a fused three-pin plug in many markets.

TYPE IAustralia, New Zealand, China

Typical voltage range: 220-240V. Confirm the destination standard before shipment.

Voltage still matters

Plug compatibility does not guarantee electrical compatibility.
